Description

Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center logo TBPAC is located downtown on a picturesque nine-acre site along the east bank of the Hillsborough River. As the largest performing arts complex south of the Kennedy Center, the 335,000 square-foot Center provides an environment for a wide variety of world-class events. It boasts one of the nation's leading Broadway series and is nationally respected for producing grand opera, as well as presenting a wide variety of concerts, performances and events. More than 600,000 patrons attended 4,375 on-site events in TBPAC's 2006-2007 season.

Directions

If you are traveling north on I-275, take the Ashley St/West Tampa Exit 44 to downtown. Once on Ashley Dr, go to the first traffic light and turn right on Tyler St and go a half-block to The Center. If you are traveling south on I-275, take the Downtown East-West Exit 45A to downtown. Follow the Ashley Dr sign. Turn right on Tyler St and go a half-block to The Center.

Parking & Transportation

We suggest parking at the Poe Garage, which is located at Ashley Street between Cass and Gasparilla. The Poe Garage is connected to TBPAC by a covered pedestrian bridge. A portion of the parking fees supports the maintenance of TBPAC. Parking at the Poe Garage is $6. Parking for the disabled is at the Arrival Plaza located off Tyler Street and valet parking is available at the Arrival Plaza for most shows as well. It is important that you arrive early if you plan to valet park.
